Jess Anderson is a graduate of Washington State University, Tufts University, and the School of Museum of Fine Arts. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts with an emphasis in silkscreen printmaking and installation, but is trained and skilled in a broad range of disciplines: painting, drawing, surface design, figure drawing, sculpture, textile and costume design, and various printmaking.
Always a nomad, Anderson's eclectic career has moved her around the world from Los Angeles, to Boston, to Washington, to Poland, and back again [for now]. Jess is inspired by local flora and fauna, questions around sustainability and "women's work", movie theater/hotel lobby carpets, the word "yikes," and fighting the patriarchy with dark humor. She currently works for a tech company as a copywriter and content creator, and freelances as an illustrator, editor, and consultant.
